Envision SoHo-NoHo Public Workshop #3 “Mixing It Up” & More Ways to Get Involved

Workshop #3 will focus on sharing ideas that emerged from previous workshops and identifying preferences & priorities.

• Time: Thursday, April 11th, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
• Location: 1 Centre Street, New York, NY 10007. North Wing, Mezzanine

After initial research on existing land use, demographic, and economic conditions of the neighborhoods, in January 2019, Borough President Brewer, Department of City Planning Director Lago and Council Member Chin announced the start of the community engagement process. The goal of the engagement is to deepen understanding of existing neighborhood conditions and needs of the people who live, work and create in SoHo and NoHo, and encourage an informed public dialogue that is focused on neighborhood priorities and planning strategies for the future of the two neighborhoods.

Attendees will work together to:

• Discuss ideas and recommendations based on common themes identified at the Open House and Workshops 1 and 2
• Share their priorities and preferences for ideas shaping the future of SoHo/NoHo
• Brainstorm additional ideas and priorities

Format of April 11th “Living in the Mix” workshop:

• 6:00 – 6:15 Meet the SoHo/NoHo Team and your neighbors

• 6:15 – 6:30 Presentation by SoHo/NoHo Team

• 6:30 – 7:45 Facilitated Group Discussion

• 7:45 – 8:00 Regroup and Q&A
