The SoHo Broadway corridor is a vibrant mixed use community made up of residents, office tenants and retailers. From time to time, a member of the SoHo Broadway corridor may be completing a project that requires a temporary closure of the sidewalk or lanes of traffic. This past June, the MTA had to close down portions of Broadway and Prince Street to complete some track work. Recently, the installation of a new HVAC system on the roof of a building required the temporary closure of the sidewalk and some lanes of traffic.
The Initiative is here to help by providing advice on how to minimize the impact on your neighbors and can put out notifications to the community so they can make alternative plans.
