The Department of Sanitation has announced that there will be no residential trash, curbside composting, or recycling collection in observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, 2026.
Please do not place garbage out the evening of Sunday, September 6th for collection on Monday, September 7th. SoHo Broadway residents who normally receive Monday trash collection should place their material at the curb Monday evening for collection beginning Tuesday, September 8th.
Collection delays may occur after a holiday. DSNY appreciates patience as they work to collect the backlog of material.
