Fans of Lululemon will be thrilled to learn that the popular activewear brand has opened a sprawling new flagship store at 524 Broadway. The striking corner building was designed in 1903 by architect Arthur H. Bowditch, and would eventually become the center for Morris Propp’s successful Christmas tree light business. Passersby can’t miss the red flags announcing the new occupant which seem fitting to the holiday season.
Inside, the two-story space is decorated with 3D-printed recycled materials with a color pallet and overall vibe harkening to the company’s Pacific Northwest roots. With custom tiling on the walls and a unique sculptural ceiling installation, the new flagship store creates a cohesive tactile experience for patrons.
Visitors to the store can take advantage of Lululemon’s full range of apparel offerings as well as tailoring and return services. The location will also provide a hub for local brand ambassadors and initiatives.
