SoHo Broadway Trivia Night Vol.2 Wrap Up

On Thursday, September 27th, the SoHo Broadway Initiative teamed up with Global Citizen and Artists & Fleas SoHo to host a zero-waste themed Trivia Night. SoHo Broadway locals and visitors came down to 568 Broadway to mingle over small bites, fun drinks, and 2 rounds of trivia. Activations from city agency, local institutions, sustainability artists, and organizations who are taking the responsible actions to meet NYC’s zero-waste goals by 2030 were in the room too.

The event’s activations included:

• Center for Architecture for sharing part of their Design for Waste: Zero Waste City exhibit
• Department of Sanitation 0x30 table for providing stickers, 0x30 reusable bags, and informational material
• NY Compost Box for showcasing the Residential Compost Program on SoHo Broadway
• Reclaimed Organics for introducing people to their Small Business Pickup program and providing education at the waste station
• Sculptors Alliance for bringing artist, Barbara Lubliner and her Upcycling Plastics Workshop 

Event Sponsors were Dean + Deluca, Douglas Dunn + Company, Nike, Scholastic, City Winery and Boxed provided trivia game prizes, drinks and other goodies that made this event a hit.
