The Governor released the NY Forward Reopening Plan , a clear and complete guide to reopening, offers a detailed look at the path forward. As of now, New York City meets 4 of the 7 public health benchmarks necessary to begin the re-opening process. To begin reopening, NYC must further reduce new COVID-related hospital admissions, and must increase its percentage of available regular hospital beds and ICU beds.
Most Initiative staff remain working from home, although we continue to open the office daily in support of our essential supplemental sanitation and public safety services while maintaining open lines of communication with our City service partners at DSNY and NYPD. The best way to reach staff is via email (staff email addresses are linked here), though you can also call us on our office phone numbers which are linked to our mobile phones.
The Clean Team continues to empty trash receptacles, pick up litter, remove graffiti, sanitize receptacles and serve as eyes/ears within the SoHo Broadway district.
For the near term, the Initiative will not be holding in-person public or internal gatherings.
Our team is here to help guide the SoHo Broadway community through this challenging time; please contact us with any questions or to help with accessing any resources referenced on our site.
