Governor Cuomo outlined a winter plan to combat the COVID-19 surge, which includes 5 target strategies to manage and mitigate the spread of COVID-19:

SoHo is not currently in a hot spot under the Governor’s micro-cluster strategy, and New York City remains in Phase Four of reopening under New York Forward. The Initiative will continue to keep abreast of the situation, including any new restrictions that may be announced. In the meantime we urge all community members to redouble their efforts at maintaining safe practices in their businesses and personal lives, and to get tested regularly. A free local self-testing site has been in operation most weeks at Judson Health Center (34 Spring Street) 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

SoHo Broadway Initiative

Initiative staff members are in the office at 594 Broadway suite 1107 daily to monitor conditions in the district, answer your questions, maintain lines of communication with public agency partners, and support our sanitation and public safety services. The best way to reach staff is via email (staff email addresses are linked here), though you can also call us on our office phone numbers which are linked to our mobile phones.

The Clean Team continues to pick up litter, remove graffiti, and serve as eyes/ears on the street within the SoHo Broadway district.

For the near term, the Initiative will not be holding in-person public or internal gatherings.

Our team is here to help guide the SoHo Broadway community through this challenging time; please contact us with any questions or to help with accessing any resources referenced on our site.
