On Thursday October 14 at 8:30 the SoHo Broadway Initiative is holding our quarterly virtual roundtable event. We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by special guests from City agencies presenting information about two programs for building owners and businesses which were featured in this month’s newsletter:
NYC Accelerator
NYC Accelerator is a City-backed program to help control costs, meet local law compliance, boost building performance, increase energy savings, and reduce carbon emissions across NYC buildings. Launched in 2012 by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, NYC Accelerator works with thousands of buildings across the city to build a cleaner future by lowering pollution and carbon emissions. This program is provides free technical guidance to help the market transform how our buildings operate and are built.
Presented by Simon Mugo & Fatou Jabbie, NYC Accelerator
NYC Business Quick Start
NYC Business Quick Start is an interagency effort led by the Department of Small Business Services (SBS) to cut red tape and position NYC as the most business-friendly large city in which to open or reopen a business. Key features of Quick Start includea concierge service where businesses will have a sole point of contact (Small Business Advocate) to help navigate City regulations, guaranteed 48-hour response time to small business inquiries, and cutting processing time by 50 percent.
Presented by Berthe Ambroise, Department of Small Business Services
In addition, we will share a brief district update and time for your questions.
Start your Thursday by learning more about these programs and an informal conversation with other SoHo Broadway community members. We hope you’ll join us!
