As first reported in July and updated last month, the SoHo Broadway Initiative has attempted to retrieve as many of the painted plywood boards along Broadway as possible before they were discarded when storefronts removed them. A special thanks to Aurora Capital Associates, JVP, and Cubico for their generous assistance with storage of these boards.
We have since been reaching out to artists, offering them the option to pick-up boards they painted on that we have recovered. Here are few photos of recent successful stories of art return from along Broadway.
