The 2018 DSNY Holiday Collection Calendar displays the holidays in which the Department of Sanitation will not collect residential garbage or recycling. Be prepared to not have your garbage or recycling collected if a holiday falls on one of these days. The 2018 Holiday Collection Calendar resources includes printable flyers for each holiday. You can post these flyers as friendly reminders to your building and neighbors that garbage/ recycling will not be collected.
This is a reminder that there will be no residential garbage collection on Christmas Day – Monday, December 25, 2017, and New Years Day – Monday, January 1, 2018. Please do not place garbage out for collection on these days. DSNY collection on Broadway will resume the following Wednesday.
DSNY will again be running special collections to pick up Christmas trees for mulching. The Initiative’s Clean Team will move any tree placed out after Christmas on Broadway to a common pick up location for DSNY collection. Happy Holidays, SoHo Broadway.
