What brought you to SoHo Broadway? What do you do here?
Our office used to be just up the street at 594 Broadway but in 2019 we moved to a bigger office at 568 Broadway. A large part of our business is building relationships with our partners, and being located centrally in such a vibrant neighborhood helps facilitate those face-to-face interactions that are so valuable to us. I manage Business Operations here, so I assist our customers and partners with anything they may need, evaluate our current product offerings, and manage the day-to-day.
What does your organization do, what industry are you in?
pulsd was started by New Yorkers, for New Yorkers. We are a media company that partners with hundreds of local restaurants, fitness studios, spas, salons, event venues, etc. to market special offers on their behalf and get the word out about their business! Our mission is to democratize New York City and make the city’s experiences accessible to everyone. We also have an editorial side of the business where we post free events going on in the city. Follow us on Instagram @pulsd to be in the know!
What do you like about SoHo Broadway?
We love the vibrancy of the neighborhood and all the hustle and bustle. There’s always so much going on here! Great shopping, coffee shops, pop-ups, restaurants, and bars. Also love how centrally located it is!
What is your favorite SoHo Broadway memory or experience?
I simply love getting to be immersed in this neighborhood every day. Whether it be on my walk into the office or running errands at lunch, I’m grateful I’m able to spend so much of my time here! I have also seen quite a few famous people. Cody Rigsby from Peloton and more recently Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead.
If you had 20 minutes free, where would you go?
I’d walk to the Mulberry Street Library and check out a book, stop by one of the many pop-ups, or by Matchaful for a matcha latte!
What should we know about you outside of working/living here? What do you do for fun or are you looking forward to doing?
When not at work I’m usually reading or exploring Manhattan by foot! I think walking around the city is a great way to get to know your neighborhood and I’ve also enjoyed exploring the SoHo Broadway area during my lunch break! When traveling by foot, you stumble upon little gems that you may not have noticed by car. I’m looking forward to continuing to help build pulsd and creating valuable experiences for New Yorkers!
