Artists & Fleas announces relocation of SoHo Marketplace
Artists & Fleas, a marketplace of makers – tastemakers, experience creators, designers, collectors and curators – is excited to announce the relocation of their SoHo space to the E.V. Haughwout Building on the corner of Broome Street and Broadway. The new location will be opening its doors to the public on Wednesday, July 31 with a grand opening celebration on Thursday, August 8.
Located at 490 Broadway, New York, NY 10012, Artists & Fleas will be occupying the 5,000 square foot ground floor of the five-story commercial building. The building is also the home of the world’s first successful passenger elevator and is a designated New York City historical Landmark.
Artists & Fleas is utilizing this relocation as an opportunity to refresh the marketplace layout and offerings of their current space in SoHo ahead of their 15 Year Anniversary celebrations this Fall. Existing merchants that will be moving to the new location include:
“Part of the thrill for us and our community is to create moments of discovery and delight for shoppers and local residents alike,” said Founders Amy Abrams and Ronen Glimer. “Our new home in one of SoHo’s most historic buildings at the intersection of Broome & Broadway feels like the perfect crossroads for where retail in New York City is going – where different parts of downtown collide and people from across town come to meet.”
Join Artists & Fleas for their grand opening party on Thursday, August 8, 6-9 p.m. featuring DJ Hesta Prynn, drinks & bites, prizes, and flash tattoos.
