What does You & Mr Jones do?
We are the world’s first brandtech™ group.
You & Mr Jones is a marketing technology group. We believe all marketing can be done better, faster and cheaper thanks to technology and we are building a brandtech group to deliver that for the world’s leading brands.
We use our unique in-house model, our technology platform, and our business units to create, measure (data) and distribute content better, faster, and cheaper than outdated legacy methods. We’re the global market leader in in-housing, which gives brands much greater control, flexibility, speed, effectiveness and cost-efficiency across their marketing (better, faster, cheaper again). As proof of this, Unilever recently called out in its 2018 annual report the €500 million savings that U-Studio (operated and run by our group company, Oliver) has delivered.

What brought You & Mr Jones to SoHo Broadway?
We have created our US/NYC headquarters here in SoHo, to bring our NYC-based teams under one roof. We feel this is a step forward in harnessing the power of alignment of our innovative group companies, as well as in building a common culture steeped in the creatively innovative history of the neighborhood.
What sets your company apart from the rest?
We are setting out to disrupt marketing and create a new category: brandtech. We are not trying to create a new agency model or compete with agencies.
We created You & Mr Jones to fill the gap between big advertising holding companies, which are experts at branding and advertising but don’t really get technology, and tech companies, which are brilliant at technology but don’t have the same interest or expertise in branding. We deliver both and that’s why we came up with the term, brandtech.
We built You & Mr Jones to be mobile-first and technology-first in order to deliver the volume of content brands now need for all the different new mobile channels, at the speed they need it,
and at the right price.
The mobile phone created a tectonic disruption in the marketing world: totally changing how and where people consume content, creating a huge need for new types and formats of content for all of the new channels, allowing every person to be a content creator, and generating unprecedented levels of data.
Our entire business has been built to deliver for this new world and, importantly, was created after this mobile revolution.
