On February 28th, China-based fashion retailer Urban Revivo entered the U.S. market right here in the SoHo Broadway district with a 30,000-square-foot flagship store at 515 Broadway. As noted by Forbes, this store is the brand’s largest outside of China and is part of a global expansion campaign along with stores in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, the Middle East, and India opening this year. Urban Revivo is positioned to compete with brands like Zara, H&M, and Shein in the affordable fast-fashion space aimed at consumers under the age of 35.
Urban Revivo describes the design concept of its SoHo store as “‘urban revitalization’, incorporating dancer-inspired ribbon art installations, cultural fusion Inspired by Chinese purple clay pottery color schemes, blending with SoHo’s classic red brick walls and a smart shopping experience, with self-checkout systems.”
