Los Angeles Apparel has opened a new flagship store in SoHo, bringing their quality fashion and commitment to ethical production to New York. The brand, which has a mission to provide sustainable styles while paying fair wages, opened on Saturday, August 30th. The flagship store opened in a large space at 480 Broadway (once home to Topshop) featuring wood and marble floors and ionic columns. Hanging mannequins and mobiles make use of the high ceilings.
Art and vintage collectables are positioned throughout the store, making shopping feel like a treasure hunt. Much of the art refers to the many cultures and immigrant communities that shape Los Angeles’ culture.
The store additionally provides indoor seating, where shoppers can rest their feet and read about clothing made in the US in the Crafted with Pride Made in the USA Directory.
