For a limited time only, Bloomingdale’s SoHo is providing a unique experience to shoppers on Broadway.
The art-deco landmark building home to Bloomingdale’s SoHo has served sophisticated New York shoppers since 1886. Today, the Style Studio found on the 5th floor adds a new component to the downtown department store; shining light onto a 21st-century personal shopping experience. The Style Studio is home to Bloomingdale’s team of stylists. It provides an elevated service where stylists work with shoppers one-on-one to guide and inspire them in discovering their individual style. The Style Studio is a chic and simple consultation space and fitting rooms to make this a comfortable environment where shoppers can feel free to express themselves.
What sets the Style Studio apart from other shopping experiences is that the service is easy and accessible to a broad range of shoppers who have different needs from their shopping experience. Shoppers fill out a fun and engaging style profile online prior to their appointment so that when they come into the studio, they get the most out of their time with their stylist.
We asked: What brought the Style Studio to Bloomingdale’s Soho? Nicole Vellucci, Bloomingdale’s Vice President of Shopping Services tells us, “We set out to test some innovative ideas around styling, staffing, environment, and technology. The Style Studio appeals to a shopper who is looking for advice and guidance in expressing themselves through their wardrobe. Once we complete the initial visit we hope to build a personal, long-lasting relationship.” Considering SoHo Broadway attracts shoppers from around the world, it seems the location was a perfect fit.
