Frankies Bikinis is ringing in summertime in New York City by opening their first ever brick-and-mortar store on Mercer Street! The women’s swimwear brand will feature their bestselling pieces, new swim and apparel and exclusive items in their SoHo pop-up store — set to be open until Spring 2023. The brand’s Founder and Creative Director Francesca Aiello said to WWD magazine: “I pull so much inspiration from New York and I love that people are really willing to take risks with their fashion choices and use the fun fabrics, prints and silhouettes I release to create their own personal looks. As we continue to grow, expand into more categories and experiment with new fashion trends, I think that New York is a perfect place to bring those to life.” Aiello is excited to be able to tell the Frankies Bikinis story to customers in person, through this shift from an ecommerce platform to a physical retail space.
The decor is inspired by the brand’s Southern Californian roots of beach culture, with details such as a wall full of skateboard decks covered in campaign imagery, and a video projection of footage from Little Dome Beach in Malibu. Check out the new store on 112 Mercer Street!
