LinkNYC is a free public network of Wi-Fi kiosks that replaced pay phones in New York City. The kiosks, called Links, offer many services for New Yorkers. The kiosks are equipped with technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, video cameras, and sensors and features LinkLocal, which provides free advertisements for small businesses, community groups, and local events. Designed to help business owners and community leaders with customers and communities, Link Local provides pre-designed advertising templates that can be featured on 1-2 selected links.
To take advantage of Link Local, (through LinkNYC) and the offer of free advertisements for small businesses, community groups, and local events, join the webinair (see registration link).
