While continued record-breaking winter weather buffets the city, our Clean Team has done a fantastic job keeping our district clear through blizzards and freezing temperatures. This winter season has seen twice the usual amount of snow, with over a foot and a half falling in the February 22-23 blizzard.
With every storm and its aftermath, the SoHo Broadway Clean Team removes snow and ice from crosswalks, catch basins, bus stops, subway entrances and the areas surrounding fire hydrants. We would like to send a special thanks to the Clean Team for their continued work in maintaining the walkability of our district, making sure it truly feels like a winter wonderland after each snow!
