Sidewalk Vending Initial Conditions Report

Over the summer, Katie Garrett, the Initiative’s Outreach Coordinator, examined illegal sidewalk use along the SoHo Broadway corridor with a focus on sidewalk vending.  Her efforts are detailed in the Sidewalk Vending Initial Conditions Report.

The Initiative hopes to use this report to shape our public safety program’s priorities, inform the Initiative’s outreach to the SoHo Broadway vending community and help us engage with our partners in City government to relieve sidewalk congestion caused by illegal sidewalk use.
