The SoHo Broadway Initiative is currently holding a series of quarterly Community Roundtables where you can learn about what is going on in the district, hear about resources for businesses and residents, and ask questions.
On April 20th, the Initiative held a Roundtable featuring staff from the New York City Department of Sanitation: Gregory Anderson, Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Strategic Initiatives, and Jonathan Viguers, Assistant Commissioner of Outreach. Greg and Jonathan gave an overview of key current agency initiatives, as well as responded to questions. Topics discussed included new waste set-out time rules, composting, vending enforcement, and containerized waste pilots. We look forward to our continued partnership over the coming months and years with the Department of Sanitation to improve cleanliness for those who live in, work in, and visit the SoHo Broadway community.
