SoHo Broadway Events: Recap and Save the Date!

The SoHo Broadway Initiative is currently holding a series of quarterly Community Roundtables where you can learn about what is going on in the district, hear about resources for businesses and residents, and ask questions.

On January 26th, the Initiative held a Roundtable featuring staff from the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg: Shawn McMahon, Deputy Chief of the Trial Division, and Estelle Strykers-Santiago, Director, Community Partnerships. Shawn and Estelle outlined their roles and current initiatives, challenges, and priorities of the office, as well as responded to questions. Topics discussed included retail theft, changes to bail laws, discovery burdens, trespass notice, and efforts in regard to fencing. We look forward to collaborating over the coming months and years with the District Attorney’s office to improve safety for those who live in, work in, and visit the SoHo Broadway community.

Save the date for our next Roundtable on April 20th, 2023 via Zoom from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by personnel from the New York City Department of Sanitation; mark your calendar and look for more details in our upcoming newsletters!:
