SoHo Broadway Art: Are you an interested artist or host site?

This October, SoHo Broadway Initiative is joining several other NYC organizations in support of Digital Art Month. Described as “a creative celebration of digital and new media art,” Digital Art Month is organized by the Contemporary and Digital Art Fair (CADAF) and will span the entirety of October, with an exhibition of augmented reality and video works being installed throughout citywide.

The Digital Art Month, a creative celebration of digital and new media art, kicks off October 1, 2020, in New York. The inaugural edition presents curated exhibitions located in various public locations and online. In the times of social distancing, this digital festival unites the creative community and invites viewers to discover, share and experience cutting-edge art.

With the support of the Fifth Avenue Association, Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership, Madison Avenue BID, Mana Contemporary, Meatpacking District, Monira Foundation , National Arts Club, Soho Broadway Initiative, Studio As We Are, Studio Loutsis and 393 NYC, cities will be brought to life with Augmented Reality works and Video Screenings. Participating artists will list their artworks for sale on the CADAF online platform powered by the Blockparty marketplace.

The global artistic community will be encouraged to share artworks in convenient physical spaces, online and on social media as a part of the #DigitalArtMonth. An open call for artists and an interactive map of the participating spaces will be available on www.digitalartmonth.com. The navigation between the exhibitions in cities will be structured as a self-guided exploration.

Digital Art Month promotes creativity, community building and innovation, connecting the audiences across urban and online landscapes.
