Meet Dan Hogle of the SoHo Broadway Initiative

SoHo Broadway Initiative: New Director of Community Affairs and Operations joins our team

Dan Hogle joined the SoHo Broadway Initiative as Director of Community Affairs and Operations in June 2022. Dan brings a long track record of engagement work in New York City for both government officials and non-profit organizations, with a focus on constituent services and community affairs.

5 Questions with Dan Hogle:

SBI: When did you start working with the SoHo Broadway Initiative?

DH: I joined SoHo Broadway in mid-June of 2022.  After spending the past several years working at various non-profits around NYC I am excited about the opportunities SoHo has on the horizon. 

SBI: Outside of work, what are your interests and activities?

DH: I am a big baseball fan so I try to get up to Yankee Stadium as much as I can. I also snowboard during the winter as much as my aging knees will allow. In between those activities I still enjoy exploring the city. 

SBI: What is the best part of the next thing you’re doing?

DH: I am really looking forward to learning more about the SoHo area. I have worked in every borough, and I always enjoy learning about the nuances and what makes a neighborhood and the people tick. 

SBI: What is your favorite hang-out spot in the SoHo/Downtown area?

DH: It is great working so close to Washington Square Park! 

SBI: What is your preferred mode of transportation in NYC?

DH: 8 years into being a NYC resident and I’ve finally mastered the subway but I also enjoy a nice ferry ride from time to time.
