This December, the Initiative continues its monthly series where we feature members of the Initiative’s Clean Team. The Clean Team is made up of 6 members who work for our partner ACE. Most readers recognize our Clean Team from their distinctive sapphire blue SoHo Broadway t-shirts. The goal of this series is to introduce the SoHo Broadway Community to the men who work tirelessly each day to keep the SoHo Broadway corridor looking its best.
Meet Clean Team Member Lawrence Levan
Lawrence is another life long New Yorker, who grew up in the East Harlem and Yorkville neighborhoods of Manhattan where he was the fifth of six children in his family. He currently lives in the Bronx, just a few blocks from Yankee Stadium.
Lawrence is a former Master Gunner in the US Army where he served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After being stationed in Germany, he only likes mayonnaise with his fries!
On November 18, Lawrence joined the Initiative’s Executive Director, Mark Dicus, for lunch.
