The History of Rhythm, by Women @ Bookstore Cafe

By Housing Works Bookstore & Cafe

The History of Rhythm, by Women (La Historia del Ritmo, por Las Mujeres) is a talent showcase featuring the rich expressions of women from the Caribbean diaspora – Soho Community Events

The concept involves understanding how creative expression for women who hold genetic roots from the indigenous land is affected by living in the dominant culture.

In short, we will dance, play, speak, and sing at the same time from the wombs of our mothers to you.

featuring Curet Performance Project, Luisa Bastidas, Miss Angelina, Samatha Nieves, and Desiree Gordon.
