“Sculptors Alliance” 2D-to-3D Workshop (for Adults) with Francine Perlman
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Experience the adventure of making three-dimensional objects starting from planes!
Attendants will aim to understand opportunities that originate from giving form to a plane (cut) as well as editing planes (bend).
Using Johnathan Lippincott’s book: “Robert Murray Sculpture” as reference, attendants will have the opportunity to explore their own ideas guided by Sculptor Francine Perlman.
OBJECTIVES
Foster investigation and experimentation.
Foster sculpture making.
MATERIALS
Cardboard and paper.
TOOLS
Scissors, X-acto Knives, glue, tape and hot-glue gun.
Attendants may bring their own materials, but all materials will be provided!
