Ancient Mariner Phillip Giambri & Marco Rafalà’s debut Novel & IAWA Open Mic @ Mulberry Street Branch NYPL

Phillip Giambri aka “The Ancient Mariner” left home at eighteen and never looked back.  His latest collection, The Amorous Adventures of Blondie and Boho (Two East Village Dive Bar Coyotes) is illustrated with original watercolor art by Linda Wulkan. His book Confessions of a Repeat Offender is a compilation of his performance stories and poems. His work has appeared in Artists in the Kitchen, The Long Islander, Silver Birch Press, and online at NewYorkCityTalking.com.  He writes: “He’s seen and done what others dream of or fear.  That’s how he lives and that’s what he writes.”  Author website – www.AncientMarinerTales.com

How Fires End is Marco Rafalà’s debut novel. A first-generation Sicilian American  novelist, Rafalà is also a musician, and writer for award-winning tabletop role-playing games. He earned his MFA in Fiction from The New School and is a co-curator of the Guerrilla Lit Reading Series in New York City. Born in Middletown, Connecticut, he now lives in Brooklyn, New York. His fiction and non-fiction have appeared in the Bellevue Literary Review and LitHub. www.marcorafala.com
