By The Museum at Eldridge Street
March 5 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Stroll through the neighborhood’s 100-year history with long-time Lower East Side resident and Museum at Eldridge Street Docent Richard Soden. Learn about what life was like for Jewish immigrants at the turn of the last century: Where children played, where people worshipped, shopped, ate, did business, and how residents received news.
You’ll also explore more recent history, including how the neighborhood has evolved in the twenty-first century while sampling food from the Lower East Side of old and new.
Kosher and vegetarian options will be available upon request. Please let us know any and all dietary restrictions during registration by emailing contact@eldridgestreet.org.
Cost of food is included in ticket prices. Please note that the nosh offered will not constitute a full meal.
Please also note that all participants must adhere to the Museum’s COVID-19-related policies, which include the requirement that visitors wear masks while inside the Museum. You can view our full COVID-19 policy here.
Please arrive for check-in at the Museum’s front desk (12 Eldridge Street) 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
