Community Conversations – SoHo in Transition with SoHo Broadway Initiative

By Mulberry Street Branch-The New York Public Library

Join SoHo Broadway Initiative for a conversation about community.

This discussion will feature a conversation with SoHo Broadway Initiative founders Emily Hellstrom and Brian Steinwurtzel.  In addition, Executive Director Mark Dicus will join the discussion. The conversation will focus on the future of SoHo Broadway as a vibrant residential, shopping and office community.  Most of all, theSoHo Broadway Community is invited to offer guidance and reflect on the neighborhood’s continuous evolution.

SoHo in Transition is a three – part series concerning the SoHo Neighborhood. Each session will highlight a different part of SoHo’s history, and the issues that affect it today.  The aim of these conversations is to create a greater understanding of SoHo’s Past, Present, and Future and engage dialogue that creates a greater connection among old and new residents.

About Community Conversations at The New York Public Library:

The brand new Community Conversations initiative at The New York Public Library introduces a space for discussion on local topics. Local librarians at select branches will co-facilitate these dialogues with community organizations, inviting anyone and everyone to the table to share and listen. Let’s create a truly democratic space where we can connect together through meaningful dialogue! Learn more and browse all of our conversations here.
