Save the dates! On Friday, September 6, and Friday, October 4, Howard Street between Mercer Street and Crosby Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for SoHo Broadway First Fridays, in collaboration with the New York City Department of Transportation’s Weekend Walks program.

Donna Vogel is Senior Managing Director at GFP Real Estate. Donna was among this year’s six Cast Iron Partner Award recipients at the SoHo Broadway Initiative’s 5th Annual Meeting! We caught up with Donna to learn about what brought her to SoHo and her involvement in the community.

Artists & Fleas, a marketplace of makers – tastemakers, experience creators, designers, collectors and curators – is excited to announce the relocation of their SoHo space to the E.V. Haughwout Building on the corner of Broome Street and Broadway.

Fabletics, a digitally-native brand which specializes in activewear, has opened a physical location in SoHo Broadway, one of 28 retail locations in the U.S. Co-founded by Kate Hudson in 2013, the company has become known for its membership-based business model, in which Fabletics VIP members receive hand-picked outfits each month.

DSNY Residential Garbage & Recycling CollectionWill Be Suspended On Monday, May 27th, 2019.

On Monday, April 22, the SoHo Broadway Initiative celebrated Earth Day with a block party on Howard Street between Broadway and Mercer Street. April showers didn’t keep hundreds of people from coming by to drop-off electronic waste for recycling, donate books and clothing, learn about composting, grab a reusable bag, or simply enjoy a car-free pedestrian public space for the day.

Led by Neighborhood Coordination Officers P.O. Erdman and Dermody of the 1st Precinct, Sector D, the SoHo Retail Security Council presentation was created to spread awareness about the initiative to reduce the number of larcenies in SoHo.

Naked & Famous Denim, a Canadian brand which specializes in rare Japanese raw denim, has set up shop in SoHo Broadway.

Save the Date! The SoHo Broadway Initiative’s 2019 Annual Meeting is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, June 18.

Join the SoHo Broadway Initiative and your friends, colleagues and neighbors for an Earth Day Block Party where you can learn more about sustainable practices and programs, do some spring cleaning by dropping-off materials for reuse and recycling, play outdoor games, and sit outdoors on a city block transformed into a pedestrian-only public space.
