Art-Filled Banners Brighten Broadway

SoHo Broadway District: New campaign features local art and highlights neighborhood resiliency

Last month, 26 new banners were installed around the SoHo Broadway district. The banners, which will remain up until July, intend to illuminate SoHo’s continued importance as a community for art and encourage a positive message for the continued reopening and recovery of the district in 2021.

On one side, they feature one of 5 artworks from the SoHo Renaissance Factory, a collective of young artists who are among the dozens who have painted on boarded storefronts in SoHo since June. On the reverse side, the banners feature “We’re All In On SoHo” messaging, in coordination with the citywide All In NYC campaign. We are excited to celebrate local artists and businesses through these banners, and hope residents and visitors enjoy the artwork lining the district.

In addition to the banner artists, we’d like to thank our generous sponsors for making this year’s banner program a reality: GFP Real Estate, Loci Architecture, Meringoff Properties, NoMo SoHo Hotel, PacSun, T.J. Maxx, Vornado, and Zara. Additionally, we would like to thank our partners Five Boro Flag Banner & Sign, NYC & Company, and the New York City Department of Transportation who made these banners possible.
