Megan Diebboll joined the Soho Broadway Initiative in January of 2025 as Field Operations & Engagement Manager. Prior to this role, Megan worked at the Horticultural Society of New York City as a Program and Operations Manager. In this role, she supported HORTNYC’s Workforce Development Program while leading operations for Open Streets throughout the five boroughs in partnership with the New York City Department of Transportation. Megan’s additional work experience includes working as a social worker/therapist in Detroit and New York City jails and prisons for five years. She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in urban planning from Hunter College.
Megan is passionate about creating and supporting social structures in cities through her background in community organizing by utilizing urban planning tools. On the weekend, you can find her exploring green spaces in the city, reading with her two cats, making art, doing yoga, or riding her motorcycle through the Catskills!
