By Housing Works Bookstore & Cafe
At this ongoing live interview series, gonzo gay journalist David Goldberg sits down for candid conversations with the brightest stars of NYC’s queer artistic community. Drag artists, comedians, actors, writers and activists join the former Time Out editor and The Luminaries podcast host to discuss amongst other things their inspirations, fears, & careers.
To coincide with annual drag extravaganza Bushwig, Goldberg is joined by New York drag stars Harajuku, West Dakota, and Charlene Incarnate to discuss their experiences as performers and opinions on the past, present, and future of New York’s drag scene.
(And because this is a drag-related event, there will of course be a raffle with special prizes!)
All ticket, bar, and raffle revenue funds Housing Works’ services provided for people living with HIV/AIDS & homelessness.

Her work spans from queer nightlife/performance to runway/editorial modeling and much more. She has performed across the country at venues such as MoMA PS1, Pier 59 studios and National Sawdust. West has walked at NYFW and has appeared in print and online for publications such as Vogue, Dazed, Out, and Interview. She was crowned Mr(s) BK in 2017.
