By Artists & Fleas SoHo
Building on 15 years of helping artisanal businesses launch and grow, Artists & Fleas is hosting a special event in New York City on March 3rd. “Artists & Eats: Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs” will feature more than twenty female-founded food businesses selling unique, delicious, handcrafted food and beverage products throughout the day.
Although admission is free, donations are encouraged to support Emma’s Torch, a woman-founded non profit in New York, which provides culinary training to refugees. Anyone donating more than $10 will receive an Artists & Fleas branded tote bag containing special gifts as a thank you.
Emma’s Torch founder, Kerry Brodie, is thrilled to be involved in this celebration of female food entrepreneurs: “We are so grateful for the fundraising support and the opportunity to make more people aware of our refugee-focused culinary program. Our students will be on hand as well–so people can personally taste what they can do!”
Visitors will find a variety of food offerings at the event, ranging from Call Me Caramel’s delectable gruyere cheese caramels and Yu Bakery’s yucca puffs to Jessie’s Nutty Cups’ creatively flavored peanut butter cups and LOLI Beauty‘s food grade beauty products. Peep the full lineup below.
