In March, the Initiative announced the selection of artist Zigi Ben Haim to create a sculpture that will be installed at the bus stop located at Broadway and Grand Street through the New York City Department of Transportation’s (NYCDOT) Community Commissions program . The sculpture is titled “Treasure in Green” and is being fabricated right here in SoHo. The Initiative visited Zigi’s studio at the end of the April to check on the progress and here are a few shots of the work in progress.
