The League’s monthly After Hours events, formerly called First Fridays, are informal social gatherings that allow members to visit the offices of leading design practices and see work on the boards.
TYLin is a global engineering and advisory firm that works across new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, transportation infrastructure, and specialty structures. The firm’s Buildings Sector was founded by Bob Silman as a one-person practice in 1966. Now a part of TYLin, the office comprises over 200 people, including more than 70 licensed engineers and 20 LEED accredited professionals. TYLin’s Buildings Sector describes themselves as “committed collaborators,” with a diverse portfolio of projects across North, South, and Central America.
