The Department of Sanitation has announced that there will be residential trash collection on Friday, November 10th, 2023, the Veterans Day holiday (observed).
Residents of the SoHo Broadway district, who normally receive Friday trash collection, may place their material at the curb as they normally would the evening of Thursday the 9th. Residents may experience collection delays, as is common after holidays. DSNY appreciates patience as they work to collect the material.
In recent years DSNY has often announced its plans for holiday service in the weeks leading up to the day. Please check DSNY’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram), DSNY’s press release page, or 311 for updated direction as future collection dates that fall on a holiday approach.
