The SoHo Broadway Initiative is currently holding a series of quarterly Community Roundtables where you can learn about what is going on in the district, hear about resources for businesses and residents, and ask questions.
On October 20th, the Initiative held a Roundtable featuring New York City Comptroller Brad Lander as part of our efforts to connect the SoHo Broadway community with our elected officials. Lander outlined priorities for his office around economic development and recovery, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining basic civic services. Lander answered questions raised by community members. Topics discussed included the district’s vacancy rate, resources for small businesses, and affordable housing. We look forward to collaborating over the coming months and years with the Comptroller’s office to improve the quality of life for those who live in, work in, and visit the SoHo Broadway community.
