Dan Hogle joined the SoHo Broadway Initiative in June of 2022. Having spent his childhood assuming the borough’s streets were lined on either side with World Series trophies, he moved to The Bronx in the summer of 2014 to begin a career in politics.
Dan began his community engagement work with the New York State Senate, where he focused on constituent services for several years. After demonstrating an ability to navigate complex government bureaucracy, he was promoted to Director of Community Affairs in 2015. Dan resigned from the Senate in November of 2017 and hit the campaign trail again, engaging with voters at the local, state and federal levels.
Following a long election cycle, Dan began to shift his focus to issue advocacy and began organizing on behalf of New York City-based non-profits where he worked on campaigns ranging from criminal justice reforms to the city’s response to COVID-19. Dan takes pride in his ability to work on behalf of NYC residents to ensure that they are getting the most of what their city has to offer.
