After being closed for almost two years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to report the reopening of the Cafe & Bar at Housing Works Bookstore! Housing Works is a New York City-based nonprofit fighting the AIDS and homelessness crisis through advocacy. A neighborhood hub, the bookstore cafe was founded at 126 Crosby Street in 1994, and has successfully raised money to support the Housing Works mission. It is run primarily by volunteers and is funded entirely by donations.
