Information We Collect
“Personally identifiable information” refers to information that directly identifies you, such as your name, zip code and e-mail address. SBI will not collect personally identifiable information about you when you visit the Site unless you voluntarily provide us with that information. We may request personally identifiable information from you if you wish, for example, to join a mailing list or participate in a survey. SBI may use that information for such purposes as fulfilling your requests for our information or services, communicating information that may be of interest to you (such as information about events and happenings in and around SoHo Broadway, as well as information from other businesses within the district) and conducting surveys. SBI will not share your personally identifiable information with third-parties except as set forth below under “Sharing Your Information.”
“Non-personally identifiable information” refers to information that does not identify you but which can be used to track certain internet conduct. When you visit SBI’s Site, we may automatically collect and store information sent by your web browser, such as IP addresses (i.e., the Internet address of your computer) in server logs. We may also collect standard information about your computer (such as your web browser and operating system) and about your usage of our Site (such as pages visited, length of visit, and search queries). This information, which does not identify you personally, is aggregated and used to help diagnose problems and suggest points for improving parts of our Site. For example, we utilize statistical software to identify which parts of our Site are most heavily used.
With Whom Do We Share This Information
SBI will not sell, rent, or share your personally identifiable information and will treat it in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, except that SBI reserves the right to share such information in only the following limited ways:
First, we share your information with certain third-party vendors who help us with fulfillment of site administration. These vendors are contractually obligated to use this information for the sole purposes of assisting us with a specific project.
Second, SBI reserves the right to share your personally identifiable information if requested by law enforcement or as otherwise required by law.
Third, as authorized by you.
Email Lists & Opt-Out
Our Site gives users the opportunity to freely subscribe to our electronic mailing lists. The identity of subscribers and their corresponding email addresses are not sold or provided to outside advertisers, direct mail concerns, other email list services, etc (unless you specifically authorize us to do so). To unsubscribe to any email list follow the unsubscribe instructions in the email. Please note that changes to your preferences may not be effective immediately.

Please note that while we work hard to protect the security of your information, SBI cannot provide an absolute guarantee as to the security of any information you transmit through the Site, and that you do so at your own risk.
