The Initiative is pleased to welcome Frank Wessels to the SoHo Broadway Initiative. Frank joined the Initiative at the end of May. He’s a retired Detective from the New York City Police Department and most recently served as a Public Safety Supervisor at the New School. The Initiative is excited to have Frank join our team. As with all new members of the SoHo Broadway Initiative team, here’s Frank’s 5 Questions.
SBI: When did you start working/volunteering with SoHo Broadway Initiative?
FW: I began working at the SoHo Broadway Initiative in May of 2016.
SBI: Outside of work – what are your interests and activities?
FW: I like hanging out with my family and friends, reading, web programming, going to the shore and exploring the City.
SBI: What’s the best part of the next thing you’re doing?
FW: Aside from improving the SoHo Broadway corridor, I’m hoping to take a trip to Europe in the next 5 years.
SBI: Where is your favorite hang-out in the SoHo/Downtown area?
FW: Wo Hop on Mott Street (the one down stairs) for late night fried dumplings with hot mustard.
SBI: What is your preferred mode of transportation in NYC?
FW: I prefer to walk when traveling around NYC.
