Meet Cammie Flippen – Outreach Coordinator Intern

As our newly formed organization settles into routine, meets and services our community members, we have been fortunate to receive help from several student interns.  Cammie Flippen is a student at Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and works for us in our Spring 2015 Outreach Coordinator Internship program.

SHBB: When did you start working with SoHo Broadway BID?

CF: I started working with the SoHo Broadway BID on April 8, 2015.

SHBB: Outside of work and studies – what are your interests and activities?

CF: Outside of work and school, I enjoy practicing yoga, running, and gardening.

SHBB: What’s the best part of the next thing you’re doing?

CF: I am really looking forward to exploring the City in the summertime, and to my August vacation to Puerto Rico!

SHBB: Where is your favorite hangout in SoHo or New York City?

CF: My favorite thing to do in SoHo is stroll the streets and browse store fronts. In greater New York City, my favorite places to hangout are in city parks. I especially enjoy walking or jogging through Central Park and people watching in Washington Square Park.

SHBB: What is your preferred mode of transportation in NYC?

CF: Walking! I grew up in a suburb of Washington DC where driving was a must, so I like being able to move from place to place with my own two feet!
