What do you want to share with your neighbors in the SoHo Broadway community? What are you doing or is going on that you want the neighborhood to be talking about?
As part of the SoHo Broadway Initiative’s 2019 Annual Meeting scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, June 18, we will present a program of brief slide show presentations by SoHo Broadway community members under the theme: We are SoHo Broadway: We live, we create, we work, we shop. Who are you and what is on your mind?
We are seeking to showcase a wide range of presenters, representing different perspectives within the SoHo Broadway Community. To facilitate an engaging conversation, we will use a concise format inspired by PechaKucha, invented by architects in Tokyo in 2003.
Each slideshow will consist of 15 slides of images (no text) displayed via an automatic timer at 20 seconds per slide, for a total of a 5-minute presentation.
To be considered as a possible candidate, please complete the presenter Expression of Interest Form no later than April 26, 2019. We encourage presenters to think creatively about what they might share about their experiences in a brief, imaged-based presentation. Candidates will be reviewed with an eye toward including a broad cross-section of content and community members, including perspectives from residents, businesses, employers, institutions, public officials, and more. Selected candidates will be notified no later than the week of May 13.
We hope you will share your SoHo Broadway with us!
